  5. Insulation: Insulating your window is essential to creating a clean seal between the interior and the outside world. Most use foam insulation because it is easy to install and expands to fill the cracks.
  6. Cleaning Up: From here, it is time to clean up. Cut off the excess foam that is sticking out and possibly painting any areas around the window that need it.
