1. Using Roofing Nails Wrongly

They exist in various sizes and are made of different metals to suit different roofing materials. Roof systems that utilize nails to fix it to the roof deck have clear guidelines on the right nails.
When they are driven above the self-sealing strip, are too short, or are used in insufficient numbers, they contribute to the quick deterioration of roofs.
2. Not Using Starter Shingles
Amateur commercial roofing contractors fail to lay a starter section of shingles along eaves. It seems like a negligible mistake- until rain makes its way to the roof deck through the bottom shingle cutouts.
3. Ignoring the Attic
The attic plays a huge part in the welfare of your roof. When some contractors pay no attention to proper ventilation of the attic, moisture accumulates in it. Apart from a worn-out roof, poor ventilation also leads to a rapid rise in your energy bill.
4. Using Different Roof Shingles
When a commercial roofing contractor uses unmatched shingles, the obvious result is an unappealing roof.
